Goodbye, for now

Dear readers,

I'll just start with the thing I hoped I would never say: I decided to take a stop for my blog. Unfortunatly it is not making me feel any better blogging every day, and it starts to feel as if i must blog, even though I do not really enjoy it. I do enjoy being creative and I absolutely will keep on reading other blogs, but I do not have the time and the fun to continue posting on beautifuldoodle any more. This blog will remain visible for the upcomming week, but after that I will make it invisible for other bloggers.

I did enjoy making this blog and I hope that at some day the blog will return.

Thank you so much for reading.

For the last time,

GoodieBag part three

The last post of the goodiebag tutorials! This tutorial is not really worth a post, it is so simple :P The truth is, that if you craft, you have got a lot of small leftovers. But these paper leftovers are perfect for making your own scrapbook supplies! Just write down your favorite words, draw a monster, cut them in a shape and paste them in your scrapbook.

As you can see in the previous post, I used a brown paper bag to make small butterflies and drawings, I made a polaroid camera and a casette. And I drawed small monsters to scrap.

It is so easy to make your own recycled scrapbook gift! Enjoy ;)

GoodieBag part two

In this tutorial I will show you how to make cute lucky stars! They are perfect for crafting and decorating.

First, you grap an old magazine and cut of a line with a big lenght. The bigger the star, the bigger the width, the bigger the length. Ok, this sounds weird, but it is true :) I use a line of just about 1 centimeters.
Now you are going to fold the long paper tail to the right corner. This is the way that the paper is pointing when you fold it.
Then you fold the paper 'tail' underneath, to the left under corner (see picture)
You repeat this several times, until you have no more paper left. Then you fold the end of the paper underneath the square (picture). You push it in there and then you make it flat.
After this, you will press on all the corners with you thump and finger, so you make a star.
If you have trouble folding the corners of the star, you can use a needle or a small pencil. By pushing both sides a little bit, all of a sudden the star is way easier to fold :)
I would like to warn you: This is very addictive. They are só easy to make, that you just can't stop folding! Have fun !

GoodieBag How To

How to make a scrapbook goodiebag from recycled stuff? This goodiebag contains all kind of stuff that you can use to craft or to scrapbook. It is such an easy gift, and it's really nice making it aswell. In the upcomming post I will explain what is in the bag and how to make the stuff. In this post I will show you how to make a goodiebag from an old envelope.

This tutorial is very easy. You grab an old envelope, and cut of one side of it.

Then fold the three sides that are uncut, so the left, under and right side. The length between the edge of the envelope and the fold depends on how big you would like to have the bag, but I fold just about two centimeters from the edge of the envelope.

Then you open the envelope and you make it look like this picture, so the parts that you just folded are now the corners of the bag.

Then you fold the bottom of the bag into two triangles and paste or tape them just as you can see on the picture.

If you want to close the bag, just fold it trough the middle, just as I did at the first picture.
Two sites to make your own music
http://www.m0ar.org/4335 (found via angiemayhandmade.blogspot.com)

and http://www.lullatone.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/raindrop.swf

They work just about the same, click a square, or a raindrop, and hear the music. With the first musicmaker, the rythm is already made (it plays from left to right and again from left to right, so on).

With the raindrops, there is no beat, just press some raindrops and the sound wil repeat every 5 seconds. This one is a little harder to use when you have trouble finding a rythm, but there is a posibility to hear a beat, press the green clock in the left corner :) (and press again to turn it off).

There is Coffee, No Tea

Someone said that today, and first I did not see the link. He said: It's a world with coffee but no tea. And then he said, it's a world with Sneakers but no Allstars.

There is wood, but no trees,
There is one, four, five, six, seven, nine, but no two, three, eight and ten.

Do you understand what is in this world and what is not?

A girl in my class just couldn't understand it! It was so much fun. Its harder when you ask someone then when you read it, so spread the word that there is coffee but no tea!

The War of The Roses

For my English class I will have to do a presentation tomorrow about 'The war of the roses'. My part is telling everyone that the house of Lancaster was in a thirty-year during fight with the house of York, and I have to tell about the reason why it was called the war of the roses.

This inspired me, because each house was represented by a rose. The house of Lancaster was represented by a red rose, the house of york was represented by a white rose. And those roses are so pretty, look at them:

Source, wikipedia

and when the war was over, the both houses decided to live in peace and make one roses wich represented both families:

Creativity in the end of the fight!

Inspiring Office

Ooohh, the weekend is over... Unfortunatly, because I loved this weekend! I'd spend some time with my friends on saturdayevening, and I met over 10 guys, haha. I really enjoy meeting new people, most of the time it is a fact that the first impression is better then when you know someone a little longer. So I love to have the perspective that the one that you are talking to, is really being nice to you because he is nice, and not just pretending as if he is...Unfortunatly, knowing someone for a longer time means that you'll also get to know the bad aspects.

But that is not what I am supposed to be blogging about, I just wanted to show you some pictures I made yesterday, because I went to an old building with some architects in there. Oh my Gosh, it inspired me so much! I do not want to be an architect, but all this creativity makes me feel great.

This one is great, an enormous A! Wauw, so cool

This deerantler, it was so pretty

This is one of the scetches that where around

This pretty peg, made of huge clothespins

And this weird computermouse... It's just weird! I have no idea how to use that actually, but I guess it's comfortable?!

Thank you and enjoy your sundayevening!

I was driving in my car and all of a sudden a huge bird flew over an sat in the tree. It turned his head and looked right to me! What a great experience. What's in my bag?

Let's take a look what is in my bag today!

There is some make-up, mascara, eyeliner and a sort of scissor that doesn't cut but curls your eyelashes. Then there is my wallet, my sunglasses and my key with a super cute keyhanger.
Then there is the book 'taal is zeg maar echt mijn ding'.  Underneath that there is my sketchbook, my jojo, a cute owl neclace, which I would like to show you later on, and my nearly finished Babooshka card :D

I can actually open this cute elephant and put a very small note in there.
